Mystery Book Club Schedule

 



The Upstate SC, Sisters in Crime Mystery Book Club is designed to acquaint readers with the mystery genre’s rich variety and to give readers a chance to talk about a book's pros and cons with an author. Each Quarter, a guest author moderates the book club and selects the featured books.

The Mystery Book Club meets via zoom from noon to 1:00 PM EASTERN TIME.


2023 - Q3

President of the Upstate SC Chapter of Sisters in Crime, L M WHITAKER (Linda) will moderate next quarter's Mystery Book Club. Linda  is an award-winning author of international action thrillers laced with science and technology.

Linda's picks include some of the best books she's read this past year from authors you may not know. She says each is fun, not too violent, and clever. Her selections are as follows: 

-  July 12th -              Find you First - Linwood Barclay

-  August 9th -           The Chalk Man - CJ Tudor

    -  September 13 -      The Crucible of Steele - LM Whitaker

    About the Moderator

    Throughout Linda's career, she worked exclusively for international technology companies. She has visited or lived in 25 countries. Currently she lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina, USA.

    Linda's stories are founded on years of research and decades of work in computer technology, artificial intelligence, and other advanced data science. Her Georgia Steele thrillers combine current scientific breakthroughs with historical facts. She recently published Titanium Web, book two in the series.
