Upstate SC Sisters in Crime chapter is pleased to have Maggie Toussaint speak about “The Hoofbeats of Pacing” at our September 7 meeting on ZOOM. Have something to write on for a little exercise and
you can post your response on Chat. Maggie’s talks are always fun and informative!

Southern author Maggie Toussaint writes cozy and paranormal mysteries, romantic suspense, and dystopian fiction, with more than twenty-five novels published. 

Maggie's October 17, 2023 release, IN THE WICK OF TIME, book two in A Magic Candle Shop Mysteries, is a cozy paranormal mystery series written under her pen name of Valona Jones. 

A multi-year finalist for Georgia Author of the Year, she’s won Silver Falchions, two Readers’ Choice awards, and the EPIC Award. She’s past president of Mystery Writers of America-Southeast chapter and a member of Sisters In Crime. She lives in coastal Georgia, where secrets, heritage, and ancient oaks cast long shadows.
